Camp Location

Sister Pat's takes place at The Mid-Hudson Valley Camp in Esopus, New York.  It is located 90 miles north of New York City and is ideally situated on the west bank of the Hudson River.  The camp has full access to the 200 acres of land and many facilities of the Marist Brothers Retreat Center at Esopus.

By car, camp is about 90 minutes from the George Washington Bridge or Westfield.

Take the Garden State Parkway to the New York Thruway North (towards Albany.)
Get off the Thruway at Exit 18 (New Paltz), pay toll and turn right onto Route 299.Take Route 299 to the end, and make a left onto Route 9W.  Take Route 9W for 5 miles.You will pass Mother Cabrini’s Home for Children, Stella Maris Novitiate, and Holy Cross Monastery. 

The Mid-Hudson Valley Camp, located on the Marist Brothers property, will be on your right just past a low stone wall.  At the entrance to the property there are two large stone columns and a gate house on the left.  Turn right into the property, and bear left as you enter the property.  You will see a small sign that says MHVC.  You will pass two small houses on your left, then turn left.  Continue straight into the courtyard.  If you are keeping your car at camp for the week, please pull around back, and park along the back left side of the building.  Welcome!
